I’ve just put the Clarion Folk podcast live. It’s over an hour, which is too long. Will be trimming the structure for next time.

Chris Brogan gave me the thumbs up to post on DadOMatic, which I just did now, here. It’s a fantastic site, something that struck a chord in me the first article/post I read. Awesome stuff!

The script for the 3rd episode of The Plastic Detectives is coming along. It’s putting aside singular time to do it that’s the problem.

Am working on the first flash game for the The Plastic Detectives site. “Working” means at the moment I’ve thought about it, installed FlashDevelop, and done a couple of tutorials.

I’m working on something new too. Not sure what will come of it. A couple of things I’ve tried to solve is modelling “Relationships” and some other customer relationship functionality.

Oh, and I’ve been successfully walking and running 5 kms each way to my salary work for the last two weeks. Walking TO work, and running FROM work. Heh heh.

That’s right.

The Plastic Detectives (dot com) is now the place to find the coolest home-made kids plastic toy show on the internet!

The First Episode has been moved across. However I’ve been struggling to get the script finished for the second episode. Need to dedicate some dedicated time to it.

This site as it stands is more of a sandbox. I decided to go very plain, because I didn’t want to go with someone else’s theme, and I don’t have any design skills at all. Hopefully we’ll get something better soon.

Work has been flat chat lately. We’re gearing up for the yearly International Conference. The big system I’ve been working on since before the Reformation (i kid, i kid) is being displayed for all to see and play and break.

Also am working on a web system for one of the other business units. Have to brand it up for the conference. Shouldn’t be too much trouble, it’s just the time that grieves me so.

Have gotten Chapter Navigation into Taels. Awesome. So now you can read it like a book, going from chapter to chapter without too much trouble. Links are top and bottom. Works better that way I think. Here’s an example.

Almost finished the first episode of “The Plastic Detectives”. Just have to add some filler background music while there’s no dialogue. It runs a couple of minutes long, and the theme song takes up probably as much time as the story. Ha ha. It’s so awesome seeing all the parts of putting something like this together. We recorded the song today, the kids don’t really know it yet, but it’s classic all the more for their almost getting the words.

So it should be done tomorrow night I think. Will go up on Taels. I might wait till Monday to release it proper. Or at least to start making noise about it.
