Day #6, Too Much Pressure

[ Spoiler Alert for Bones and Heroes, kind of, although if you watch them you would know about this ]

Wow, just watched the season 3 finale for Bones and an episode of Heroes season 3.

Zach was the apprentice. Crazy. How did it happen? I mean, what did the guy use to appeal to Zach, to bring him onto that path. Am hoping season 4 (which is a fair way along in the States, maybe finished) will give us some more info on that.

And then, Heroes was mind-blowing, as per the last few episodes. Peter’s Dad has arrived, and just took/stole/leeched? Peter’s powers. Very cool.

So today was another great day. We recorded the voices for episode 3 of The Plastic Detectives. Now I’ve got the pieces, just have to put them together.

Am getting caught back up into Eldest again.

Heroes is TV 2.0

It has just struck me how important Heroes is as a piece of history. Not just because it’s awesome.

It is awesome.

And not just because it’s about super heroes with powers of regenerative healing and mind reading.

Heroes is TV 2.0.

Have you investigated just how broad the creation is? Tim Kring and his men have created something far more than a tv show. There are comics, blogs, arpgs (not sure if that’s the right term), and more.

I’m sure stuff leaked before about an episode that is then changed (like the names of the episodes) are part of the deal.

The TV Show is the main vehicle, but these other elements are all very important to Heroes. Story-telling has hit 2.0. Or maybe it should be dotStoryTelling. Ha.

The Wall, I’ve Passed Through It A Few Times

Well. The next version of Rasp is done! Whooot. Seriously, it’s awesome. But it’s also 4.30 am. But

But ..

It’s going to be another night. I’m not going to release it without the Help being updated. Sure, I’d like for the program to be simple enough for people to just pick up and use .. and it is I believe .. but not having a Help file up to date sends a message I’m not willing to send at this stage in the game.

So be ready! Tomorrow night .. for sure!

It’s going to be a hard road tomorrow, but it’s worth it.

Oh. I’m also considering putting my Freight system up on the Archer site. The 4th product. It’s already done, and is a handy program in it’s own right. It’ll also come with both an up-front and monthly cost.

I do want to rewrite it from scratch one day, but not just now. Ha ha .. things are winding up.

Been watching Heroes. I’ve been swept away into their world of almost-magic. It’s pretty sweet. X-Men without the spandex. But more. It’s an amalgamation of all things awesome. Story-writing. Comics. Fantasy. Characters. Interweaving of plotlines, _intelligently_. Good stuff.
